CURRENT: Easy, Tiger! 30 September and 2 October, CSSD, London
Stand-up comedy and post-Marxist philosophy: in his first hour show Broderick Chow looks at what it is to be a good, political, ethical person and engage with the world. Broderick desperately wants to do these things. He wants to not be boring. He also really wants an iPhone. But you can’t be a Marxist with an iPhone, and so he examines all his failed attempts to just be better – from direct action pranks with terrible books, to the socialism instilled by his dad. And in an act of misplaced confidence, he tries to improve his life, and yours.
