Dangerology is an interactive exhibition using visual art, comedy and performance. The theme of the work is regressive, sickly nostalgic, and mournful, celebrating and deconstructing memories of school, and how it defines and shapes each of us, unconsciously or otherwise. The idea of absence and ghosts continually recur through the work; persons lost even to memory, former selves shucked off or reinvented, and a constant, overwhelming haze of nostalgia thank fuck that’s over.

For me, Proust’s tea-soaked madeleines are Chewy Chips Ahoy! and Dr. Pepper.

Gallery open 9 AM – 4 PM, Monday-Friday. From 2 PM – closing, there is music and dancing, for visitors to re-do the prom they missed or messed up. Come dance with the quarterback, cheerleader, math nerd or teacher. It’ll be a pretty good party.
